My oh my. What an excellent way to end my last day here in New Jersey. It certainly was a blast and I hope to make a proper post talking about every single day in deeper detail.
So for today, our biggest plan was to meet up with Cheekan and hang out with him. Luke and I (for the longest time) had a bit of anxiety of meeting him. Mainly because of the fact that we feel like he’ll just be so… NORMAL.
In any case, this morning we had pancakes… with pizza! It was an unexpected development, but we went with it. Luke and I had a pancake with a pizza altogether. It was great (for what it was)! We then proceeded to just sit around hang around waiting to hear from Cheekan to further our plans.
As expected, Cheekan was being dewmy and wouldn’t respond in forever. When he finally did, we managed to get some things planned out and we were able to come up with a good time frame of when we’d be able to do some things.
The package that I sent last week Monday finally arrived today. Apparently it was not able to make it yesterday because of a “train derailment.” AKA, people just messing something up or taking a smoke break which cost them a day. It was very nice to see both Nury and her reaction towards the package. It made me glad that my mother made the decision to make the pillows and blankets.
So Cheekan would be finished with his class by 9. We decided that we would leave at 8 so that we would be able to get there around 8:30 in case he gets to leave class early. To help pass the time, we played Mario Party and ate lunch (or what would normally be dinner for them).
When it was time to leave, we only had about six turns left before the match would end for Mario Party. Though this took priority easily and we began to head out to go pick Cheekan up (that was the plan eventually). After we picked him up, we went out to go bowling. Cheekan is a fucking CHEATER AND HE KNOWS THIS. But that’s okay, since we all had good fun and there was a patch that was put into place so that his hacks would not work anymore.
We then went to “Stuff Yer Face” only to find out that the kitchen would be closed at midnight. Good going, Cheekan! He then later suggested Buffalo Wild Wings (I’ve had bad services in my two prior visits back at home), but we decided to go anyway since it was late at night and perhaps no other place would be open.
Surprisingly enough, it was actually good timing since a lot of things were kinda on a event sale and food were cheaper than normal. Our waiter was awesome, we had some good food, Luke and I finally shared a drink (I had an Apple Orchard mixed with Fireball while Luke had some awesome beer that was a Chocolate+Peanut Butter mix which was pretty damn legit), and just an overall good time.
Now we’re all back home with everyone where they need to be, and I’m about to go down and finish the rest of the chicken wings that I got (when we got to BWW, they were going to close in half an hour so we didn’t really have much time and we didn’t want them to wait on us), and beat Nury at Mario Party.
By the way, Nury. DEER!!
I think hkan is trying to nudge himself close to Nury.
“When it was time to leave, we only had about six turns left before the match would end for Mario Party. Though this took priority easily . . .” I like the borderline irl detchkan haha.
Fricken cheekan … rolls off the tongue
